Storyline:
Troy and the gang of East High School are going through their senior year, facing graduating and going their separate ways. Coming to terms with the reality of it all, Troy wants to attend the nearby University of Albuquerque next year on a basketball scholarship, but Gabriella wants to attend Stanford University in California. Meanwhile, Sharpay, the school's shallow and spoiled rich girl, plots to go all out planning the school's final musical show with the idea to add music to her hopes and fears about the future. While Sharpay takes an up-and-coming British exchange student under her wing, her flamboyant fraternal twin brother, Ryan, has his sights set on something different after school. In addition, Troy's best friend and basketball teammate Chad, and Garbiella's best friend Taylor, all have their sights set on their plans after high school and come to terms with the reality of the real world.

I don't care what other people say, i can't wait for this movie to come out! It is so kid friendly and i loved to first two. It must be really good to put it in a theatre.

My daughter loves HSM and I am as excited as she is! You HSM haters out there need to lighten up a little! It's all just for fun! Everything doesn't have to be so serious!

when it hasnt even come out yet and some of you are already saying its a horrible movie... have you seen it? They have a bigger budget and more time to make this film since its going to be on the big screen the lighting will be better not the stupid blue lighing in hsm2. There are going to be plenty more songs and im sure the dancing is going to be even better since they had more time to rehearse. So stop saying its a bad movie wait till it actually comes out then see it and rate it.

This movie was awesome! It absolutely beat the 1st and 2nd one. It was a bit corny but overall it was great. Some people just rate it bad even though they haven't see it. I hope people liked it as mush as i did!!!!!

Most people who give these movies bad reviews is because they think its stupid because its for younger kids and is stupid. You have to understand that these movie were made to entertain younger kids! so if your 16 and think its stupid, i dont blame you! its not targeted for your age! and FYI little kids dont care if it has a thin plot or the songs are corny! The movie is just supposed to be fun! and it is! Im 12 and i love these movies! so what if they're not realistic? it gives you a break from reality! No highschool is not that fun and people dont break out into song and dance! Its a MOVIE! So personally...I cant wait! I am going to the movie the day it opens with my friends! So please, if your a teenager and you're gonna give this movie a bad review, save it! think back to when you were a kid...you would want to go to the movie too!
